That's all for now. Everything else remains the same. Let's hope he continues to gain weight and eat better. Love to you all!

Day 60: Let's hope this does the trick
So, we finally got a new feeding plan for the babe. Let's hope that everyone passes it along into tomorrow. We talked to the doctor and the surgeon today to make sure it was okay to go through with this plan. The biggest concern is weight. He must gain weight. Well, if he's throwing it up he's not getting it anyhow. They weigh him nightly so we will know if he is still gaining weight. We will be checking Frankie's pga (what's left in his belly) before each feeding. If there is anything more than 15ml left we will subtract it from the 80ml feeding. If there is anything less than 15ml, they will go ahead and give him the full feed. As each day goes on he is less and less interested in the bottles. It's rather discouraging as a parent but I do know that one day he will pick up on it. We know that he knows how to do it, he's done it several times, it's just not what he wants right now. I know he won't be on the feeding tube forever but sheesh, sure feels like it sometimes. They did do an xray on him today to make sure that there wasn't a kink in his bowels or any obstructions. All looks well. They did say it's possible that the liver has shifted in his O and that it may be putting more pressure on his belly.
That's all for now. Everything else remains the same. Let's hope he continues to gain weight and eat better. Love to you all!
