Day 51: Frankie Fedora's Still Here

Not really anything new or changed here. Alex came up long  before me. My Dad had arrived at the same time and they hung out together. Apparently Frankie Frock was up since prior to Alex arriving at 2:00. From the pictures I have seen, he was wide eyed and happy as can be. I arrived around 5:00, as I was working today. When we ate dinner around 7:00 he finally started to crash and has been out cold since. So asleep that he got his last feeding through his feeding tube so we wouldn't wake him. Now if Frankie Flip-Flops was at home and wanted to sleep through the night, we surely wouldn't wake him for a feeding as long as he was gaining weight, but here they have a rules. He must be fed every 3 hours. Alex tried to switch his bottles brands earlier from the hospital provided Dr. Browns to Born Free brand and Frankie Felt wanted nothing to do with it. That was about all the excitement for the day. The surgeons came by and rewrapped Frankie Flats before we got here, so we never saw the omphalocele today. We are confident it is still there though.
