Day 37: Wasn't Frankie's Fault

Frank Bird and I watched the game, even watched it on Puerto Rican TV. So this lose can't be blamed on us. After an easy morning, Alex and I came up here around 3. The boy was wide eyed and happy. Speech had given him a bottle this morning and he took 21 cc of it. Awesome. Then he spit up 10cc of it. Might have been awesome too, but I missed it. When we came in we cleaned him up, changed his wrapping, diaper, and clothes before our guest arrived. Tami Stawar came up to visit. She hung out with Alex for about and hour while I read Missouri Conservationist in the waiting room. I read about a thing called geocaching. They have a website called geocaching.com. It is a modern day treasure hunt. People hide little objects in parks and forests and then give hints and GPS coordinates to its location. Frankie Forest and I plan on going this weekend. Don't tell mom. Francs (before he was the euro) had a great day and night. Asleep or awake, he was quiet as can be. After dinner he laid in my lap and/or arms and watched the game. We took turns falling asleep. His air is still 3 liters at 30% and his feeds are up to 23 cc. I gave him a bottle earlier, but he had just woke up, sucked on it for about 10 secs and then fell back asleep. Needless to say he didn't take much. We have a meeting with the speech therapist tomorrow at 3 to learn the tricks of the trade to feeding him a bottle. That's about all. Omphalocele looked good when we wrapped him, I have been a little more aggressive with wrapping it and it doesn't seem to bother him any.  In review, the funniest part of the night was when Alex changed his diaper and he tried to poop on her not once, but twice. Guess he had to get his point across.
