Alex beat me up here today and Crankie Frankie got a little upset. When Alex went to change his diaper, he go fussy and then had a hard time catching his breath. They (Alex and the nurse) finally got him to quiet down, but not without having to turn his air up first. Frankie Fighter is back up at 3 liters a minute at 28%. Not terrible and hopefully it was just an isolated incident. They tried to bottle feed him this morning and he only took 4cc of it. We did not bottle feed him tonight because we had visitors and he had a long day and was resting finally. Based on his weight, he should be taking 25cc an hour. We are up to 17cc an hour, so not too terribly far off. Last time he started getting cranky around 10cc and at 17cc he had 40 plus cc sitting in his belly, but this time he is taking it well. They pulled back earlier on his feeding tube to check and his belly was empty. Tommy and Stacey came up and visited, Tommy meeting the Franken Stein for the first time. We all walked over to The Majestic for dinner. It was ok. The nacho om
lette wasn't nearly as good as I remembered. Alex and I are starting to get restless coming here. We just wanna take our boy home. We spoke to a couple nurses today about when they think we could take him home. They are just guesstimating off past experiences. Plan for the worst and hope for the best. It is all based off his progress. But worse case, they are thinking mid December. Which sucks quite frankly. But it will be over before we know it.
